Requirements & Rules for 2023 Season (Solos)

Solo Contests

14 years and under

Any participant shall not be more than 14 years of age at 4 June 2023.

4 Parts of simple (duple or quadruple) time Marches.

                                

16 years and under

Any participant shall not be more than 16 years of age at 4 June 2023

8 Parts of simple (duple or quadruple) time Marches. 

                              

18 years and under

Any participant shall not be more than 18 years of age at 4 June 2023.

MSR minimum 4x2x2

 

Open

MSR minimum 4x2x2

Hornpipe and Jig minimum 4 parts each tune

Piobaireachd    Ground and 1^st Variation only

  

1.     Presentation of Trophies.

The Presentations will be held after the relevant contests at the end of each day. Recipients are required to be in uniform when receiving the trophy.
